Pentre Gwyn Youth Club runs between 6.30pm – 9pm at the Pentre Gwyn Community Centre and is open to young people aged 10 (Year 6 primary) upwards. .
The club has many activities on offer such as cook and eat sessions; arts and craft sessions; health awareness; drugs awareness; alcohol awareness and many more. The club also has usual activities on offer every week such as pool; table tennis; PS4, XBOX, board games and a wii.
The club has also worked in partnership with The GAP (Green Academies Project) from Erddig, where the young people have learnt valuable skills from the GAP team and have created a fantastic and beautiful community garden with planting boxes and benches next to the local community centre for the local residents to enjoy. Young people involved have received accreditation and awards for their efforts.
The club also has competitions, workshops and exciting new things for young people to have a go at including cook and eat sessions, informal education sessions and quizzes.
