The P&A Group Of Companies based in Mold is a family-run business with a long-standing timber heritage. Over the last four years P&A has provided great support to Caia Park Partnership (CPP). The company’s Managing Director Steve Morgan has provided business skills mentoring to CPP’s Chief Officer and P&A have generously provided advice and support on many issues such as marketing, financial forecasting, lean management systems and business development. Every Thursday in February, we held a pop up library in our Conference Room. The library was a partnership project with Wrexham library service and Caia Park and Hightown Communities First. The library service provided a lending and ordering service and a number of activities such as reading for adults and toddlers’ story time. The pop up library was very well attended and feedback collected showed that it was a great success. Everyone responding stating that they would like to see a permanent library in Caia Park.
Work has just started on a new extension for Sparkles. Expected to be open for business at the end of July the extension will allow Sparkles to provide an additional 27 daycare places, 67 in total! This work is provided by Wrexham County Borough Council working in partnership with Welsh Government through the Vibrant Places Programme. Sparkles provides high quality, affordable childcare for children from 8 weeks old to school age. We also offer wrap-round care for children attending nursery provision at local schools.
